Roger wasn't happy with Kenney getting a quarter share of The Who when Pete elevated him to official member (Roger wanted "guest" drummers by hire). He also felt, as did many fans, that his style didn't fit The Who.
I'll ignore the completely unsubstantiated rumor that Roger banged Kenney's wife. Such scurrilous talk will not pass my lips!

He was always a competent drummer, but he had no charisma.
